研究内容

揭示多能干细胞(包括胚胎干细胞、iPS细胞和哺乳类动物发育早期细胞)自我更新和发育全能性的分子机制。采取的主要策略是通过对已知参与多能干细胞特性调控的重要信号通路及细胞内因子作用机制的研究结合全基因组的表达谱式和功能筛选,揭示多能干细胞维持自我更新与定向分化之间转化的分子基础。同时,建立各种多能干细胞系,并探索多能干细胞定向神经分化的调控机制。这些研究将有助于多能干细胞的体外扩增、定向分化和临床应用。
