摘要 | Compared with the AC shipboard power system (SPS), the medium voltage DC (MVDC) SPS exhibits numerous advantages, such as enhanced power efficiency, higher operational flexibility, and heightened system reliability. Validating its real-world engineering performance can be a challenging task. However, the existing modeling and simulation research for MVDC SPS are mainly based on simplified SPS topology. To overcome this challenge, a complete and detailed electromagnetic transient simulation model of high performance MVDC SPS (IEEE Std 1709TM-2018) based on PSCAD is established in this paper. The simulation results demonstrate a robust and effective dynamic process under different ship operating conditions. Using the proposed simulation model, the performance of the MVDC SPS under different system parameters can be evaluated and compared. This study serves as a foundational step for future research of high performance MVDC SPS. © 2024 IEEE. |
