摘要 | This paper presents a synchronous readout approach for the application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) oriented to the photon-counting detector (PCD). By using this approach, the single-pixel mode and charge-summing mode can be simultaneously achieved. Compared to the case that only includes one mode, the synchronous mode can correct the charge-sharing effect while preserving the high resolution and high count rate. To validate the performance of the synchronous mode, the full-response model of detector is used to simulate the energy spectrums of the single-pixel mode, charge-summing mode, and the synchronous readout of both modes. Preliminary results indicate that the proposed synchronous mode exhibits the improvement in charge-sharing effect while ensuring resolution and count rate. Furthermore, utilizing the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB), the optimization of pixel size is explored within the synchronous mode. |
