Small-signal model of S-S Compensated IPT System with Coupling Variation

摘要The challenge of variation in coupling is a prevalent issue in inductive power transfer, with existing research predominantly concentrating on steady-state performance. However, during dynamic charging, frequent positional changes can disrupt the coupling, potentially impacting system stability. To elucidate this mechanism, a small-signal model has been developed to illustrate the relationship between the perturbed coupling and the system’s output. This model has undergone simplification to create both small- and large-signal models. Subsequently, a simulation based on a physical model has been employed to validate the derived analytical model. The simplified small-signal model maintains accuracy up to one fifth of the switching frequency.
