摘要 | This paper presents a multiobjective mixed integer nonlinear programming (MOMINLP) model based on a stagewise superstructure to handle the tradeoff issue between improving the heat and mass recovery quantity and quality and considering economic feasibility in the desalination system. The first objective is the maximum gained output ratio (GOR) to ensure the maximum freshwater production and heat recovery quantity. The second objective is the minimum exergy loss (ELsys), which represents the higher heat and mass recovery quality. The third objective is the minimum total annual cost (TAC) to guarantee economic feasibility. Finally, the optimum operating conditions and the optimum structure for the desalination system are obtained by the ϵ-constraint-based solution procedure. Moreover, a case is studied and the results show that the ELsys and TAC of the optimized system structure are 29.15 and 22.52% lower than those in the literature, respectively, which highlight the benefits of the proposed model. © 2023 American Chemical Society. |
