摘要 | Rapid and automatic bacterial detections are important for controlling foodborne diseases. In this work, we proposed a novel microfluidic system based on magnetorheological elastomer (MRE). Micropumps and microvalves were integrated into the chip for fluid control, which was accomplished by deforming the MRE with a novel magnetic actuation system and smart phone. Furthermore, Salmonella typhimurium detection based on colorimetric reaction were successfully performed using this system with a lower detection limit of 62 CFU/mL. © 2022 MicroTAS 2022 - 26th International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences.
