An Integrated Receiver for Inductive Power Transfer

摘要Inductive power transfer (IPT) systems have been widely attached to electronic devices for wireless convenient charging. Research on IPT analysis, design and control is growing maturer, and a compact receiver is preferred for recent wireless charging products. However, the existing integrated structure is complicated to analyze and fabricate. This paper develops a novel integrated receiver design. It only needs to modify the excitation method instead of changing the existing structure. The parasitic capacitance can be utilized to form a series resonance. Finally, a HFSS-based simulation and a prototype IPT system are implemented to verify the integration concept.
